School Partnerships

Current Partnerships

We are commissioned by the SEND team in Dorset Council as part of the Alternative Education Framework.

We partner with other local authority services and schools in Somerset and Dorset, to work with young people who are struggling to engage in any other setting. We work with schools, college, tutors, parents, child psychiatrists, educational psychologists and social workers.

What CoRE offers:

Meetings around the child

CoRE will be present at all meetings, as appropriate, around the child:

  1. Child in need
  2. Child Protection
  3. Annual Reviews for EHCP’s
  4. TAF meetings

Roles and Responsibilities

NB: CoRE will NOT provide the majority of a students education as set out by DFE or local authority guidelines.
